Free Virtual Incubator for Nonprofits (September-October)

The Greater Sum is a private operating foundation that awards grants via a pitch competition and a matching gifts campaign. Both grant award programs are open to graduates of our free Virtual Incubator Program. VIPs also receive access to our network of subject matter experts.

Summer 2025 Open Call Funding Opportunity
The Public Benefit Innovation Fund (PBIF) is awarding $5 million in non-dilutive funding to accelerate AI-enabled solutions that help governments respond to recent federal policy changes and funding constraints in safety net programs.
This Fellowship program will provide $5K in non-dilutive funding and hands-on, business-oriented workshops to 15 founders who are representative of Greater Boston’s rich racial and gender diversity. Applications for VHBOS are open now through 8/22!

NC IDEA MICRO & SEED Grants

Non-dilutive grants supporting NC founders leading early stage growth-oriented companies on a path to be a multi-million dollar company or be investable.

JBS Corp 20th Anniversary Pitch Competition

Open to business owners based in Massachusetts with annual gross revenue between $100,000 and $1,000,000. Applicants must complete a two-phase application process and be available to pitch in person in November 2025.
Game On-Community Places to Play

Game On-Community Places to Play is an initiative of The DICK’s Sporting Goods Foundation and LISC. The goal is to improve the quality, safety, and accessibility of local athletic spaces for young people. Grant awards will range from $50,000-$100,000 and will require 1:1 match funding.

Fund 17: Be the Boss Accelerator

Be the Boss Accelerator (BtB) is a 6 week program where Fund 17 partners with trepwise to provide one-on-one business coaching and bi-weekly educational workshops for entrepreneurs who are ready to operate their business full-time and/or hire their first employee or contractor.

NationSwell Fellows

The NationSwell Fellowship aims to equip young (Gen Z) leaders with the resources, tools, and network they need to translate their passion into effective community-focused, intersectional solutions.

Valentine Foundation Grants

Our grants are primarily available to nonprofit organizations in the Greater Philadelphia area that focus on improving the lives of women, girls, and non-binary individuals. Applicants can apply for grants ranging from $7,000 to $15,000, and multi-year options available.

Boettcher Foundation: Community Connection Grant (Fall)

These grants often help fund the construction of facilities with multi-use spaces, bring together nonprofit organizations and cross-sector partners in shared locations, or make strategic investments that elevate successful initiatives to the next level.

Fast Forward Accelerator 2026
The Accelerator is Fast Forward’s longest-standing program for early-stage tech nonprofits. Through the program, tech nonprofits get a $25K grant, mentorship, community, and more.

EdLoC: Boulder Fund


Fund 17: BenchMarks Incubator

BenchMarks Incubator is an 8 week program that pairs early-stage entrepreneurs with Business Case Managers to work on a defined goal in: Marketing, Legal, Finance, or Business Planning.

Watson Institute: BMO Fellowship 2025

The BMO Fellowship, powered by Watson Institute, empowers promising sustainability entrepreneurs with a virtual program and funding.

Watson Institute: Ford Philanthropy Mobility Fellowship 2025

A fully-funded virtual program to empower mobility and transportation focused entrepreneurs and community leaders

Village Capital: Sage Impact Entrepreneurship

Our program will focus on startups creating solutions for people and the planet in key areas like clean energy, biodiversity, sustainable infrastructure, circular economy, climate-resilient health, environmental justice, and data analytics and climate intelligence.

Truist Foundation Fellowship

Equipping Georgia-based entrepreneurs, small business owners, and nonprofit founders with the skills and network to scale their impact.

Techstars: Anywhere Accelerator

Techstars provides founders with a 3-month, mentorship-driven accelerator program, a $120K investment, and access to the Techstars network.
